Equal Employment Opportunity
 

Our hiring policy at MEDICALPROS is quite simple: we intend to hire the best-qualified and most highly-motivated people for the positions we offer on behalf of our clients. That is why our operating policy is to seek, select, employ, train, appraise and promote employees solely on the basis of their qualifications for the job to be filled.

At MEDICALPROS, there is to be no unlawful discrimination of any sort on the basis of sex, race, religion, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation, age or any other basis prohibited by federal, state or applicable local law or ordinance. MEDICALPROS will not tolerate any unlawful discrimination and any such conduct is prohibited.

 

Anti-Harassment
 

MEDICALPROS is committed to providing a work environment free from all forms of unlawful discrimination and conduct which can be considered harassing, coercive or disruptive. The anti-harassment policy applies to all persons involved in the operations of MEDICALPROS and prohibits unlawful harassment or inappropriate behavior by any employee of MEDICALPROS including supervisors and co-workers.

Examples of prohibited behavior include:

  • Unwelcome sexual flirtations, advances, or propositions
  • Unwelcome verbal abuse of a sexual nature
  • Sexually-related comments, jokes, or graphics
  • Degrading comments about an employee's appearance
  • The display of sexually suggestive objects or pictures, including any that may be obtained through the Internet or computer software programs
  • Any uninvited physical contact or touching and any conduct inappropriate for the work place
  • Unlawful harassment in any form, including verbal, visual and physical contact, threats, demands and retaliation is prohibited

 

Complaint Procedure
 

Any MEDICALPROS employee who believes that he or she has been unlawfully discriminated against, or has been the subject of sexual or any other form of harassment by anyone at MEDICALPROS or by any person who does business with MEDICALPROS, must bring the matter to the attention of his/her Recruiting Manager or President in the Spokane Headquarters Office.

All complaints will be taken seriously. It is the responsibility of each supervisor/manager and employee to respect the right of every employee and not to engage in any retaliatory action because of an individual's use of the procedure.

If an investigation reveals that unlawful harassment did take place, appropriate corrective action will be taken. Corrective action could range from a disciplinary warning to termination.

It is the responsibility of every employee to bring to MEDICALPROS attention instances of discrimination including sexual harassment. To make it easy for an employee to report a complaint, a toll-free number has been established that calls directly into the Spokane Headquarters Office at 800-805-0361.

 

Internet and Phone Use for Temporary Associates
 

Unless specifically asked by your direct supervisor, MEDICALPROS employees are not to utilize the Internet while on the job. Visiting illicit websites will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate termination. Also, please turn off your cell phone while at work. Please limit personal calls to emergencies only during scheduled work hours.
